About The Author

Byron Gottfried is Professor Emeritus at the Swanson School of Engineering, Pittsburg. He is the author of eleven books, including several in the Schaum’s Outline Series on programming.

Professor Gottfried obtained his PhD. in Chemical Engineering from the Case Western-Reserve University. His professional interests include Simulation Modeling, Computer Graphics, Programming Languages and Energy Utilization.
